Inspiration:
"Sliding is Fun" by srossinifaust
When we saw this beautiful pairing of Cumulus and Cumulus Rainbow in this sweet baby blanket, we were blown away! And a pairing of Cumulus and Cumulus Degradé would be spectacular too! The pattern is simply the knit stitch, but the stitches are slid to the opposite end to work the next colour, creating a stockinette section between each ridge--how clever!!!
Two skeins (one of two colours) makes a generous 66x74cm blanket using 5mm needles.

"Cumulus Baby Blanket" by Loop Designs
Cumulus Degradé creates a beautiful ombré slow-striping effect in this easy-to-knit garter baby blanket! Perfect for that last-minute baby shower gift!
Knit on size 5mm needles, the blanket uses two skeins of Cumulus and measures 76x76cm

"Pearl" by Ursula McGrath
Pearl is a mum and bub combo pattern for a super lightweight top and poncho. Using both Cumulus and Cumulus Dappled the striped effect is stunning.
Cumulus is perfect because of its soft cotton drape, and the Cumulus Dappled offers that striping effect where one color fades into the next.

What is Mako Cotton?
Mako Cotton is prized for its extra-long staple length, which produces the smoothest, strongest cotton fibre available. It is spun into a chainette construction, which allows for air to pass through the yarn. This creates softer, more lightweight fabric than traditional spun cotton yarns.
