The yarn:

Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus is one of the loftiest, softest and most scrumptious cotton yarns we've ever had on our needles or hooks!  This Israeli Mako Cotton blend is as soft as a kitten! The long staple length of Mako cotton is the highest quality fiber. Light as a feather, Cumulus is perfect for baby blankets and garments, and it is next-to-skin soft for scarves and shawls too! 

The amazing softness and color we love from Cumulus now comes in Stripes! Each gradient color change is bracketed by evenly spaced thin white stripes. It gives a fun patterned look to all your stockinette and keeps you moving through your project- just one more row to see the color change!

This kitten-soft cotton feels as amazing knit up as it does in the ball. Its lofty chainette construction combines cotton and a touch of nylon for a lightweight fabric with a lovely drape!  Whether you're knitting a bright, cheerful baby blanket or a pretty summer top, you will be captivated by the colorful stripes. Cumulus Stripes will work beautifully for everything from blankets to soft, lightweight sweaters.

What is Mako Cotton?  

Mako Cotton is prized for its extra-long staple length, which produces the smoothest, strongest cotton fibre available. It is spun into a chainette construction, which allows for air to pass through the yarn. This creates softer, more lightweight fabric than traditional spun cotton yarns.
